Executive Headteacher’s Welcome
Message from Executive Headteacher, Ellie Ballinger
It is with immense pride that I introduce myself as the Executive Headteacher of Greysbrooke Primary School.
At Greysbrooke, we Nurture, Inspire and Grow. Children are at the heart of everything we do as we believe they should feel happy, included, inspired, safe and supported throughout their time at school. We want to ensure children have the best start in life, are successful in their learning journey, and are exposed to opportunities that will equip them with lifelong skills, confidence and a thirst for learning which encourages them to be aspirational and ambitious citizens of the future.
All children are encouraged to develop and show aspiration, resilience, kindness and gratitude each and every day. We believe these are 4 core values that are essential throughout life and so if we can instil these every day, we are setting them up for success now and for the future.
Greysbrooke has a talented and dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants and support staff who are incredibly caring and provide exciting learning opportunities. The power of working with colleagues across other ATLP schools, ensures that ‘together we are stronger’ and that we are always challenging children in their academic growth whilst also providing them with school experiences and enrichment opportunities which makes their learning meaningful, memorable and purposeful.
We are immensely proud of our holistic approach to education and school life at Greysbrooke. In addition to our ambitious curriculum, we are acutely aware of how important it is to grow the whole child through their physical, emotional, intellectual, moral and spiritual dimensions. With our unique nurture offer, we are able to support children who need additional emotional support through our growing pastoral care programme.
It is crucial to involve children and their families as partners in their education and our whole school community thrives on mutual respect and values positive relationships. As a one-form entry village school, we pride ourselves on knowing every child and having effective strong relationships with parents, who reach out to us and tell us if there are additional worries or if they require support.
I hope you find the visit to our website useful and that it gives you a flavour of what we do and stand for at Greysbrooke Primary School.
